Cyber Crime Buster!
Jef Dye, son of Duane and Linda Dye visited our club this week to talk about his work as a Cyber Crime Investigator.
Jef Dye leads a Cyber Crime Investigative team for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He travels globally to investigate computer network security breaches, data theft, extortion and fraud cases. Jef has led and contributing in investigating some of the largest, most sophisticated network breaches to date, involving losses of millions in Payment Card Information and Personally Indentifiable Information records.
Jef has a unique background in law enforcement, with the Ventura County DA’s office and later with General Dynamics, focusing on systems engineering. Jef brings both computer intrusions and forensic’s to investigations involving Payment Card Processing, Retail, Financial and Healthcare industries. He is also a Licensed Private Investigator in the State of California.
He is also now a Paul Harris Fellow. This award was presented by Ed Bolden.
